Enhancing Efficiency and Visibility in Glass Packaging Solutions

CLIENT 

Our client is a global leader in glass packaging solutions for businesses in industries such as Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics & Perfumes, and Specialty Food & Beverage. They offer packaging solutions in over 50 countries globally, with manufacturing footprint in USA, India, and Sri Lanka with an overall capacity of 1375 tons per day, with 12 furnaces and 55 production lines. The client chose YCP Consus for our deep capabilities in source-to-pay solutions and have been live with a leading S2P platform utilizing the Sourcing, Supplier Management, Contract Management, PR/Catalog and Purchase Order modules since 2020.  

PROBLEM STATEMENT 

  • Limited visibility and compliance in supplier management, sourcing, & contract management

  • Highly manual supplier lifecycle, limited and outdated supplier information

SCOPE 

The project encompassed the implementation of the S2P platform’s Sourcing, Supplier Management, Supplier performance evaluation, contract management, PR/catalog, and Purchase order modules, along with standard reporting functionality. We also ensured successful upgrade of the platform to the latest version. 

Additionally, we provided onsite sourcing services to augment savings throughput. Integration between S2P platform and a leading ERP solution was also a key component of the project. YCP Consus handled requirement gathering, solution design, build, testing, and rollout across multiple locations in India, the US, and Sri Lanka.
